12 JulPratt Medical Center purchases space at Spotsy complex

Pratt occupies the entire second floor of the 40,000-square-foot building at 4701 Spotsylvania Parkway. Its office has been open since the beginning of the year, but Pratt had been leasing the space.

The company closed last month on the second-floor suite for about $5.65 million, according to Spotsylvania property records. That included most of the cost of building out the interior space for the office, said Donna Hart, a principal with Virginia Properties Inc., which developed the building with the Silver Cos.

Access Eye Centers and Virginia Psychiatric Associates Inc. previously purchased smaller office suites on the first floor of the complex. About 15,500 square feet is still available for lease or purchase.
