31 AugShoe Dept. Encore Coming to Spotsylvania Towne Center

The Shoe Dept. Encore will open at Spotsylvania Towne Centre early next year.

It will be “an expanded concept” of The Shoe Dept. store currently in the mall, according to Joe Bell, spokesman for mall developer Cafaro Co. He said the new store will be 11,472 square feet compared to The Shoe Dept.’s current, 6,800-square-foot location next to Hollister Co. The Shoe Dept. will close and its staff will move to the new location when it opens around January of 2013.
