I have known Brad Rosenberger for nearly 30 years. Though it may seem a little old-fashioned to talk about citizen service today, when agenda driven campaigns seem more the norm, Brad is exemplary of Virginia’s long tradition of civic service governed by what is viewed as being best for the whole, as honed by healthy and public debate.
At the center of that heritage is integrity. Whether you agree with him on any given issue, Brad’s reasoning is always thorough and he will never duck and weave in conversation. When you talk to him, he listens – and when he talks to you, he will share his honest thoughts, very respectfully, but honestly and without pulling any punches.
Brad’s priority has been to maintain the quality of life in the district and will remain so, I am sure. His perspective is a long one and his roots run deep. The hallmarks of his work are the quiet and time-consuming work needed to understand the dynamics of the environment in which the County Government operates and in building quality relationships with fellow Board members, as well as a wide range of others, including those whose ideas may differ from his own.
I believe these traits are exemplary in any elected official and that citizens having representatives with them are better served than those who don’t. Brad’s service really speaks for itself.
Thank you.
