Michelle Coughter, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida joined
Humana Medical Plan, Inc. in 2008 as a Florida Senior Products
Marketing Consultant. Prior to joining Humana, Michelle worked
as Marketing Director for MetCare Health Plans, Inc. in 2004
and played a key role in the launch of their HMO,
AdvantageCare.
Since joining Humana in 2008, Michelle has been involved with
enhancing the effectiveness of programs by recommending
high-level marketing and advertising tactics as well as taking
a “trusted advisor” role by maintaining community partnerships
and fostering relationships with non-profit organizations. She
has worked closely with local and statewide Florida
organizations to promote Humana’s benefits and programs.
Through Michelle’s outreach efforts, in particular among
seniors, Humana’s strong support for volunteerism and civic
engagement in the community has been enhanced.
